GLEN BROWN AND KING TUBBY - TERMINATION DUB

When you research the history of Reggae, you will find that many of the originators were kind of versatile: one could be a vocalist but in the same time have his own label and produce a number of other artists as well.

Glen Brown is also such a versatile worker in the Reggae Industry, developing it in a variety of ways. A vocalist, an instrumentalist, and a producer in one person. If you ever wondered about the Trinity, well, here's a small example of such a possibility.

They called him the "Rhythm Master", because of his strong productions. His close collaboration with King Tubby's the God Father of DUB was definitely an influential part in this. Financial problems, however, disabled him from pressing his material on the wide scale it deserved.

That is now changed because here we have a compilation of some of the strongest DUB works of the Rhythm Master, which he did together with King Tubby's during the mid 1970's.

Another Blood and Fire re-release: perfectly designed and informative Cover Art, great remastering and heavy, heavy Roots Music in DUB!

Fourteen outstanding tracks, but not fourteen different riddims. This is not a problem. In fact, it's nice to hear what a mix can do with a riddim! Some are mixed heavily where others just let the music speak for itself.

And quite some music it is: A crucial combination of One Drop and Steppers rhythms, all in themselves a completely valid justification for the title "Rhythm Master".
