However, DRUMDROPS has much more to offer. An offer you just can't refuse when you're a self-respecting DUB Producer who can play instruments too. Or who has connections with some Reggae Musicians.

Presenting the MULTI-TRACK DOUBLE DVD-ROM, a unique new concept within the land of digital producing. And yet, it's not a new concept at all.

There's no loops, no breaks, none of that on this product. This is the real thing, as real as real can get. 

What is the real thing? A full-length drum track. Each one well over 4 minutes long. Percussion, breaks and the rhythm itself is played in one take, from the top to the very last drop.

And it's recorded on a multi-track analogue recorder. Some if it is even recorded decades ago! And in all other cases, it's carefully reproduced, with a different setting of the drums itself for each track. On-U producer Mike P. and Stylee Scott themselves took care of that. 

Now here comes the catch. Every single drum is recorded on a separate track. And all these tracks are present on the DVD's. 

Mix the tracks together, and then invite some musicians to play along with them. They will never be so inspired, they will be wanting to play at their very very best as a natural way of going.

Needles to say, that FX and DUB tracks are added too. And there are tempo-mapping files for each track too, in case you want programmed or pre-recorded material to run along with the drum tracks.

CONCLUSION

Every aspect of Reggae Drumming is present on both products in the DRUMDROPS IN DUB VOLUME ONE line. All the basic rhythms, a wide variety of speeds, and a good balance between straight and swing (see inlay). 

Almost every track has a different fine-tuning of the drums themselves, too. Style Scott has made sure that not one track sounds like the other. 

The percussion is great and because of the many different Nyabinghy elements and tracks, could even serve as a background for some conscious material without the drums!

When you're a computer based DUB producer, you'll be wanting this. When you have a studio and a band or musicians, you'll be wanting DRUMDROPS IN DUB too.
