BURNING SPEAR - HAIL H.I.M. |
| Burning
Spear is Winston Rodney. But originally,
Burning spear was a vocal group, very much
like the Wailers. And like The Wailing
Wailers became Bob Marley and the Wailers,
Burning Spear became Winston Rodney.

PRINCE JAMMY - KAMIKAZI DUB |
| You
don't even have to be a hard core collector
of rare and obscure DUB albums in order to
consider this one to be the next addition

MESSIAN DREAD - REASONINGS IN DUB |
| You
could say, that "Reasonings In
Dub" takes off where "Apocalypse
Then" left us. The Dub mixing is more
intense, loads of vocals everywhere, and
there's a larger variety of different
styles.

MESSIAN DREAD - APOCALYPSE THEN |
| Fifteen
DUB shots, all created in the year 2006.
Centered around the theme of supressed
history and ancient enigma's, the titles
tell a story of the past that may very well
be repeated in our life times.

MAD PROFESSOR - HIJACKED TO JAMAICA (DUB ME
CRAZY PART 11) |
| To
experience the difference between UK and
Jamaica based Reggae Music, try this one
along with any other Mad Professor material.
Unlike most other Mad Professor material,
the music for this one is actually produced
on Jamaica!

Mike Roots - Freedom & Struggle |
| By
simply being real in his love for Yesus
Kristos/Jesus Christ, and by simply being
real in his love for Reggae Music, Mike
Roots has shown he knows the way to produce
some good Reggae Music.

JAH STITCH - ORIGINAL RAGGAMUFFIN
(1972-1977) |
| JAH
Stitch was born and raised in Jamaica. And
he knows what "suffering" means!
According to the liner notes, it's even a
miracle that he produced the tunes on this
album. It turns out, that at a certain
moment he found himself in a lethal
situation. A moment in which he got shot and
a bullet even wenth though his head!

Dillinger - CB 200 + Bionic Dread |
| Many
people consider the best of Dillinger's work
to have been created in the last half of the
1970's. It was the time of the Aggrovators,
Tappa Zukie and Culture. Rockers Reggae was
on the rise, and rub a dub had not yet come.

I ROY - DON'T CHECK ME WITH NO LIGHTWEIGHT
STUFF (1972-1975) |
| U
Roy was the first, but he was quickly
followed by other DJ's who built further on
the concept. I Roy, for example. And you
better don't check him with no lightweight
stuff...

LINTON KWESIE JOHNSON - INDEPENDANT
INTAVENSHAN |
| Linton
Kwesie Johnson is the godfather of DUB
Poetry. His intelectual poetry is spoken
over heavyweight Roots Rock Reggae, for
which LKJ himself created the basslines. His
crucial debute album Dread Beat An' Blood
was followed by a number of albums, for
example Bass Culture and Forces Of Vicktry.
Additionally, a crucial DUB album under the
title LKJ IN DUB VOLUME ONE was released.
